/krwd/ Hua Hin 2026

/krwd/ is a phonetic word, literally how to pronounce “Kruad” in
Thai which means “pebble or gravel”.  The word “Kruad” in Thai
has a few meanings as follows:

  • Kruad Nam > In Buddhism is to pour ceremonial water.
  • Kruad Sai > coarse sand.
  • Hin Kruad > pebble, grit, gravel.

In cycling “Kruad” is a gravel ride not a race!  When you see this logo /krwd/, it means there is a gravel cycling event because /krwd/ will deliver you a countless gravel experience.  IF YOU WANT TO RIDE GRAVEL THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO COME TO /KRWD/!

The first gravel race in Thailand since 2022.

Start the year 2026 with an exciting gravel cycling event from BZE!

Let us emphasise that this is not a race, but a gravel group ride designed to build experience and, most importantly, to have fun together!

This marks the 4th return to the same venue in Hua Hin – a destination that perfectly combines the sea, mountains, and a wide variety of gravel routes, inviting you to push your own limits.

Of course, we won’t let things feel repetitive. This year’s route includes only 20% of familiar paths from last year, while the remaining 80% are brand-new routes, carefully selected to deliver a fresh experience for every rider. You’ll ride through pineapple plantations (a local specialty you can’t miss), followed by banana, palm, sugarcane, and rubber tree platations, surrounded by beautiful agricultural landscapes. You will enjoy the scenery along the entire route, and if there’s dust swirling in the air, rest assured it’s not PM 2.5, but gravel dust kicked up from your spinning wheels. That’s the true charm of gravel riding, the kind that makes your ride even more exhilarating and unforgettable.
