Rules and Policies
The most commonly rules
- Helmet must be worn at all times during the ride with chin strap buckled and before entering the ride and while on the bike and must not be removed until riders are out of the riding zone. Helmet should also be worn during warm up ride.
- Time Trial / Triathlon bars / clip-on aerobars are prohibited.
- Riders who are under 20 years of age, your parent or guardian will need to sign a letter of consent.
- All riders will not apply to any claims against the organiser for any and all injuries suffered by rider as a result of taking part in the event.
Unsportsmanlike conduct
- Foul language or other unsportsmanlike conduct directed at the officials, polices, volunteers, spectators and other athletes is strictly forbidden.
- Bib number must be clearly visible either on the back of a jersey or on a backpack and in front of a bicycle.
- No littering of any equipment or garbage on the course.
- Riders must stay on the designed course and must follow directions and instructions as well as public authorities: marshals, police, medical team, and organiser crew.
Emergency
- In case of an emergency or accident on the course, please inform the next marshal/volunteer who will call for assistance. Or, call the emergency number stated on your bib number.
- If you wish to give up your ride, please identify yourself to the nearest marshal/volunteer. As soon as the organiser management is being informed, a car will be sent to bring you and your bike back to the designated areas.
Authorities, safety and traffic rules
- It is very important to know that the entire route will not be closed to vehicles! However, the road is secured with marshals and local authorities officers particularly at critical intersections and danger zone. When a road is opened to both traffic and bike, riders must stick to the left lane. It is necessary to follow Thailand traffic regulations.
Water station
- Water station is located approximately at every 15-20 km.
Following riders or service team on the course
- Following riders by your own arrangement of service car or any service vehicle is prohibited on the course. If such action is found, interfered or blocked other riders during the activity, the rider of an associated vehicle will be asked to leave the activity immediately with no exception.
- Having your own photographer without a permission in the course is prohibited.
- If any rider intentionally breaks the rules and policies, you will be asked to leave the activity immediately with no exception.
Signages
- Please follow the arrow signs along the route.
- Danger signs are in the technical sections with steep slopes, loose rocks and sand. Please take extreme caution. If you are not sure, please get off your bike and walk. Safety first!
