/KRWD/ Pakchong 2026

/krwd/ is a phonetic word, literally how to pronounce “Kruad” in
Thai which means “pebble or gravel”.  The word “Kruad” in Thai
has a few meanings as follows:

  • Kruad Nam > In Buddhism is to pour ceremonial water.
  • Kruad Sai > coarse sand.
  • Hin Kruad > pebble, grit, gravel.

In cycling “Kruad” is a gravel ride not a race!  When you see this logo /krwd/, it means there is a gravel cycling event because /krwd/ will deliver you a countless gravel experience.  IF YOU WANT TO RIDE GRAVEL THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO COME TO /KRWD/!

The first gravel race in Thailand since 2022.

The second /krwd/ of 2026 is taking you to Pakchong, Nakhon Ratchasima – the gateway to Thailand’s Northeast and the perfect setting for another unforgettable gravel adventure.

The route rolls through expansive agricultural landscapes and the region’s iconic dairy farm country, where freshly harvested fields open up endless views and create the perfect playground for speed.  Expect a stunning contrast of vibrant orange gravel roads cutting through lush green mountain backdrops – scenery that’s as epic as the ride itself.

Our Start/Finish venue, Nannam Country Home Resort, offers the perfect mix of convenience and comfort, making it easy to turn ride weekend into a proper gravel getaway.

And yes, this may be the last /krwd/ of the year, don’t call it the end. Call it the gravel ride season finale before we move on to the Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series Dustman.

At BZE, we’ll keep hunting down incredible new routes, and building the next adventure until we drop.  Just stay ready… because the next gravel ride episode is always coming!
